| In 2002 Martin was commissioned, for the first time, to
design and build the impressive beach hut in the Daily Mail Estuary Garden
at the Hampton Court Flower Show.
With no constraints on his design talent he created an outstanding
beach front with authentic ‘props’, sandblast effect decking
and plunge pool area. This was a considerable area of the overall garden,
which won Gold Medal. |

Martin was commissioned to work on Judith Glovers’ Artist Garden, where he supplied a driftwood chair, coffee table and bench. He also supplied the hard landscaping props as seen in the photographs. The garden won Silver medal and was voted Best City Garden by the BBC1 viewers. |

| At the 2003 Hampton
Court Flower Show, Martin was commissioned to again work in the Daily
Mail pavilion on the Woodland Garden. Martin designed and built all the furniture and driftwood flowers within the grass glade which was incorporated in the garden as well as designing and supplying the wooden flagstone flooring within the garden. This garden provided new challenges
for Martin but the result was the ‘Tudor Rose’ Gold Medal
Best in Show.
